Facebook has finally opened up the Facebook Stories for Page owners.
Brands will now be able to harness the power of Facebook Stories utilising a series of filters and special effects to tell their stories and engage their audiences. Page admins wiil be able to create stories by tapping the “Create Story” button they’ll find in their updated iOS and Android Facebookk apps. Although it is currently available to verified Pages at the moment, it will soon roll-out to all Pages.
While this has been a very anticipated feature by Brands across the world it seems that Facebook is trying to get it to be used by as many as possible. During the past few months we’ve seen Facebook expanding their Stories beyond friends and enabling Instagram Stories users to cross-post to Facebook in their effort to help make Facebook Stories popular and get more people to use them – Instagram Stories have over 250 million daily users.
Just as with Instagram Stories, Facebook Stories will be available to a Page’s followers for 24 hours before they disappear for ever!
