Facebook has begun working on a tool that allows page administrators to respond to messages from Instagram Direct and Facebook Messenger from one place.
In 2016 in Page Manager, Facebook linked notifications and comments from Facebook, Messenger and Instagram. Mark Zuckerberg outlined in next year’s strategy that one of the goals will be to connect the messaging tools of WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and Facebook.
Creating an integrated messaging page is the next phase in the Facebook platform merger. This tool will make it easier for webmasters to manage direct communication with customers, making it faster and more efficient. Additionally, a wider circle of users will be connected.
The implementation of the new tool is not yet clear, but it should work so that under the main inbox for received messages, you will have individual icons for each platform. Messages from Instagram Direct will be delivered directly to the inbox on Facebook Page Manager on both the web and mobile platforms without having to switch between apps.
The new Facebook integration was announced at Facebook Community’s last summit, and in the coming weeks, Inbox will run in the US and Brazil. If it works well, then it will be extended to other countries.
