Instagram tests new features: follower filtering, karaoke-style music videos and Live stream titles

Instagram released many new updates to make the platform more enjoyable and encourage more user interaction. Instagram is testing new tools that will allow you to filter followers, share new types of karaoke-style videos in Stories, and add titles to your Instagram Live.

1. Follower sorting on Instagram

The first new feature is the ability to filter your Instagram followers and following lists. This new feature will allow you to sort users by the date you followed them. It will be easy to see who your new or longtime fans are and then work with this information.

2. Adding titles to Instagram Live

Another update that Instagram is testing is the ability to add a new Instagram Live title. Add a title for your viewers” will appear before running a live stream. This is a small but useful update that adds more context to help increase interest in your live streaming.

3. Searching within an Instagram post’s likes

Instagram will also add a new bar to search in a post’s likes. This feature already exists for iOs, but will now be introduced to Android devices.

4. Karaoke music videos

The latest Instagram feature is a karaoke music video and text tool. You will be able to add a new video format to Stories which share music. The main goal of this feature is to bring more fun to the platform and increase user interaction.
