Facebook has expanded cross-posting features between its platforms to provide users with more content and help companies increase engagement. Another new feature, CTA Stickers, was presented for Facebook Stories, which are designed to motivate users to buy, make a phone call, book a time or get directions.
Content sharing between Facebook and Instagram is an essential tool for businesses to make sharing content easier and more engaging. Facebook has been talking about the development of the feature in 2018, but it has begun to test it on a more significant number of Facebook admins. If you already have a cross-posting tool, you can share the content as a typical post to your Page’s News Feed and Facebook Stories, or as an Instagram post.
In addition to these three options, Facebook and Instagram offer other ways of cross-posting:
- In Instagram Stories, you’ll find a Facebook icon that allows you to share story content in Facebook Stories.
- There is a feature on Facebook for sharing a post from Instagram to the News Feed.
Facebook plans to continue to improve content distribution tools between its platforms. Facebook is also talking about developing a new tool which should allow users to share Instagram Stories including links to Facebook Stories.
Another new feature is the call-to-action sticker set, which is available within the headlines of Facebook Stories.
