Instagram Stories lets you use your own AR effects and filters

With Spark AR Studio, you can create Instagram Stories with custom AR filters. Until now, the studio was only available in a closed beta, but it is now open to all users. Instagram expects many brands and businesses to use new filter tools on their stories.

Facebook has released statistics stating that the community using Spark AR effects and filters on Facebook, Instagram and Messenger is growing and reaching 1 billion users.

To experience the new effects, just visit Spark AR Studioand download the app or join the Spark AR Community Facebook Group. In this group, you can connect with other creators for advice or inspiration.

Instagram has also launched a new Effect Gallery, which can be found on the camera directly in the Instagram app under More Effects. Here you will find filters made by other creators that you can download, try and apply to your Stories.
