Facebook announced two new partnerships. Training that should educate companies in privacy training about special educational programs for developers.
Training for SMEs
Facebook has worked with US lawyers and data protection professionals to provide training for small businesses. The training will include key customer privacy points that companies should be aware of. The first courses will be taught at Facebook meetings in Baltimore, New Orleans, San Diego, East Palo Alto, California and New Jersey.
Facebook is testing a program in Europe to help companies oriented in GDPR issues. This special training program started in Berlin and Dublin.
Training for developers of application and websites
Facebook has also announced collaboration with HackerOne, which provides advice to the world’s best security teams to help educate FbStart developers. HackerOne runs the data security wizard in the applications in the coming months. This training program should help developers to resist various forms of computer attacks.
These are Facebook’s first steps in educating users about privacy, whether business or private.
